Here is how you should make Haricot Bean Soup. Start by dissolving the butter in a saucepan. Slice the onions and fry it in the saucepan for 5 minutes.

When you are done, add other vegetables (slice them before) together with beans and water in the saucepan as well. Boil everything for 1 hour and a half. Add the salt then and simmer for an additional half an hour.

Ingredients for Green Kale Vegetarian Soup


To make a Vegetaran Soup out of Green Kale, we will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of Green Kale,

  • 1 Onion,

  • 1 Spanish Ditto,

  • 2 Potatoes,

  • 1 ounce of Butter,

  • 2 teaspoons of Sago,

  • 1 quart of Water,

  • 1 teaspoon of Salt,

  • 1 dozen of Peppercorns and

  • a hunch of Mace and sweet Herbs.

How to prepare a Green Kale Vegetarian Soup


To prepare a Green Kale Vegetarian Soup, you should do the following:

Dissolve the butter in a saucepan first and then put the sliced onions and potatoes in it. Then add the water, salt and flavourings, and boil everything for an hour.

While waiting for that hour to pass by, prepare the green kale in the following manner:

Pick off all shoots, except the tender middle ones. Then trim the stalks and throw the Green Kale into salted water. Rinse well and make sure there are no insects in it. When done, boil the salted water with Green Kale for 10 minutes.

After the soup has boiled for an hour, thicken it with sago and stir it for 10 minutes. Strain it and then return it to the saucepan again. Return to the Kale again and to the following:

Strain it and place it on a chopping board. Cut the Green Kale into small pieces and add it to the soup. Boil it up again and that is it. You are ready to serve the Green Kale Vegetarian Soup!
