Good vegetarian soups can also be made of Carrots as the main ingredient. That is why I decided to post a Vegetarian Carrot Soup Recipe, so that all those, who like this vegetable, will be able to cook a very simple, but tasty soup.

As usual, lets see what you will be needing to prepare the Carrot Soup.

Carrot Soup Ingredients

We need the following ingredients to make a Carrot Soup:

  • 1 pint of haricot Beans,

  • 5 pints of Water,

  • 2 ounces of Butter,

  • 1 ounce of Salt,

  • 6 large Carrot,

  • 2 large Onions,

  • 1 small head of Celery and

  • 1 teaspoon of Peppercorns.

Now that you know, which ingredients you need, you can start preparing the soup.

How to prepare a Carrot Soup

It is very easy and quick to prepare a Carrot Soup. Here is how you should do it:

Begin with dissolving the butter in a large saucepan. Slice up the vegetables (that is Beans, Carrots, Onions and Celery) and then put them in the saucepan together with the Water and Peppercorns. Simmer every thing in the saucepan for 1 hour.

Then add Salt to the saucepan and simmer again for 1 hour and a half. When you are done, strain the whole thing and that is it! Your Carrot Soup is ready to be served.
